The Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) standards emphasize that early learning programs must demonstrate and display clear evidence of operating as high-quality programs.
High-quality programs:

1. Utilize assessment results to continuously adjust and refine instruction, ensuring it meets the individual needs of each child.
   
2. Provide intentional and purposeful activities that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with children’s needs and interests.

Engage parents and guardians in their child’s learning and development by:

1. Sharing screening and assessment results.
2. Offering referrals when specific needs are identified,
3. Following up to ensure those needs are met.
4. Offer two annual educational trainings, workshops, or events for families to help build strong partnerships and support children’s success.
